Before a global health pandemic, economic decline, national racial reckoning, and political polarization, Flint had faced multiple crises. We navigated a water crisis. Reimagined the role of philanthropy. Formed multi-sector partnerships to address the city’s needs. Built trusting relationships through consistent action.
COVID-19 posed new hardships in Flint and presented us with an unparalleled opportunity to elevate equity through the crisis.
This session will explore how local and collaborative philanthropy matters now and beyond this pandemic as it holds great promise to ensuring equity for the long haul.
